Ghostly Express Train Rides

All aboard the Ghostly Express! Join us for a spooktacular train adventure through Casuarina Square. Perfect for kids and families, this free event promises a fun, safe, and slightly spooky journey filled with surprises along the way.

Where: In front of Peter Alexander

Tickets are free but limited, so be sure to book early. Don’t forget, the train departs on time – late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and spaces may be offered to those on standby.

Important Information
– Please bring your digital or printed ticket ready for scanning at check-in. Failure to present a valid ticket may result in forfeiting your ride.
– All children under 5 years must be accompanied on the train by an adult aged 18 years or over.
– All children aged 5 years and over must be supervised by an adult throughout the train ride.

Boarding & Late Arrivals
– The Ghostly Express will depart at the scheduled session time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your ride to allow time for check-in.
– Late arrivals will not be admitted. Tickets for latecomers will be forfeited and those spaces may be offered to members of the public waiting on standby.
– As this is a free community event, tickets are strictly non-transferable, and no-shows cannot be rescheduled to another session.

Ghostly Express Train Rides – Terms & Conditions of Participation

By purchasing a ticket, add-on ticket, or otherwise participating in the Train Ride (the Activity) at Casuarina Square, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Safety & Supervision
1.1 This train is designed for children. Adults may only ride if accompanying a child under 5 years of age.
1.2 All other parents or guardians must walk alongside the train for the duration of the ride.
1.3 All children under 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
1.4 Children under 5 years must be seated with an accompanying adult, and an add-on adult ticket must be purchased for each ticketed child under 5.
1.5 Instructions given by staff and operators must be followed at all times.
2. Participation Requirements
2.1 Participants must remain seated at all times while the train is in motion.
2.2 Loose items should be secured, and participants must not place hands, arms, or other objects outside the train carriage.
2.3 The operator reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who is behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner.

4. Assumption of Risk
4.1 Participation in the Activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, or unexpected movement of the train.
4.2 By participating, you acknowledge these risks and accept personal responsibility for the supervision, safety, and conduct of any children in your care.
5. Release & Waiver of Liability
5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casuarina Square, its owners, operators, staff, and contractors are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in the Activity.
5.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Medical Conditions
6.1 Participants with pre-existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, or health concerns should consult a medical professional before participating.
6.2 You must not participate if you are unfit, intoxicated, or otherwise impaired.
7. Tickets & Refunds
7.1 Tickets are non-refundable except as required under the Australian Consumer Law.
7.2 Add-on adult tickets are mandatory for each child under 5 years and must be purchased at the time of booking. Any children under 5 years without an adult ticket on the booking may have their booking cancelled.
7.3 Lost, stolen, or unused tickets will not be replaced.
8. Photography & Media
8.1 By participating in the Activity, you consent to the use of photographs or video taken during the event for promotional purposes, unless you advise staff otherwise before participation.
9. General
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia.
9.2 If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
9.3 Participation in the Activity signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
