What to wear on Christmas Day

There is nothing I love more than the excitement and magic of Christmas Day. It’s the perfect opportunity to dress up…… the question is, “what to wear?”

I have selected some of my favourite Christmas Day outfits combinations, whether it be for a relaxed Aussie barbeque or more formal celebration.

Add in a big glamorous oversized pair of red love heart shaped glasses. This season is taking inspiration from '70s retro inspired shapes.

Complete your look with a groovy beaded bag, this is the final touch to achieving that effortless on trend ‘70s inspired look.

Linen is a key fashion trend for this summer. We have seen runways flooded with modern minimalist silhouettes in bold colours. Linen is thin and breathable, making it the perfect fabric to wear on a hot summer's day.

This modern, bold, green silhouette mini dress is perfect for Christmas Day, I adore the flounce hem and off the shoulder detail.

Add a bit of sparkle to your outfit by adding a festive gold strap sandal. I love the combination of the natural linen fabric and metallic gold shoe.

Bring the eye-line up with an understated pair of huggie oval shaped gold earrings.

Pop on a pair of oversized square sunglasses and you have pulled together a combination sure to make you feel feminine and festive.

The strappy halter jumpsuit

‘70s inspired disco era jumpsuits with plunging necklines and flared trousers were spotted on the runways for this summer.
The hottest neckline you will see in store this summer is the halter neck. The halter neck is a great way to emphasis your fabulous shoulders and show off a bit of skin. The halter neck is typically paired with flared pants. I just can’t get enough of this retro style charm.

This gorgeous green jewel jumpsuit is a modern take including the cut-out silhouette.

It’s a welcome comeback this season to the feminine kitten heel. You can enjoy a bit of height in comfort and style with this sexy white strap sandal.

Team your outfit with an on-trend hobo bag nestled in the crook of your arm to complete your look.
No ‘70s style outfit is complete without a pair of oversized cat eye sunglasses.

The elevated thong is definitely a summer shoe staple. Pair an effortless plaited leather style tied sweetly around the ankle.

Tiny bags, micro bags and mini bags have been hugely popular this season. A total fashion statement only, not being the most practical bag on the market. Make a big statement with this tiny accessory to complete your look.

This summer I am loving the statement chain necklace trend. This gold choker rectangle chain link necklace will pair perfectly to complete your look.
