#10. Meet Me In St Louis (1944)
Judy Garland's ‘Have yourself a merry little Christmas,’ will put a smile on your face at Christmas time. This cheery musical shares lessons of life & love as the Smith daughters prepare for an averse move to the big City- New York!

#9. Scrooged (1988)
What's Christmas without Mr Scrooge? Bill Murray stars in this hilarious take on Dickens’ festive moral story, as a cynical TV executive, haunted by three spirits preaching lessons on Christmas eve.

#8.The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
Michael Caine is cast as Scrooge in the classic Muppets Christmas Carol along with an amusing cast of a gaggle of frogs, rats, pigs and Great Gonzos! This is a great family watch with sing-alongs, lots of jokes and general silliness- all this together brilliantly reflects Dickens’s story.

#7.National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
This is definately a top Christmas comedy to enjoy! There are many stomach squeezing, cringe-worthy moments as Chevy Chase and his extended family entail a series of terribly hilarious and unlikely adventures!

#6. Love Actually (2003)
Love Actually is guaranteed to put a smile on your face! Love is all around in this comedy-drama set during that hectic month before Christmas in London, England. Staring a series of great actors, this film follows the lives of eight very diverse couples and their love lives in loosely interrelated tales!

#5. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
The talented Jim Carrey puts on his best face as the grumpy green Grinch from the famous Dr Seuss books. A hermit who lives on a rubbish tip near Whoville, the Grinch doesn't think much of the commercial little town – except for child Cindy-Lou, who has just what it takes to melt his heart. A great family watch!

#4. Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
This Christmas classic stars Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle, who must prove he is in fact the actual Santa Claus! He sets out to proof this to one special girl in particular who seems to have lost the true meaning of Christmas.

#3. It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)
A touching film about an unfulfilled businessman who meets an angel who shows him what life would have been like if he never existed.

#2. Elf (2003)
This film is a gift to everyone at Christmas! Will Ferrell is cast as a naive human raised by elves and after accidentally causing mischief on the elf community due to his big size, he is thrown into the big bad modern-day New York in search of his true identity.

#1. Home Alone (1990)
This classic Christmas film is a must! An 8-year old troublemaker (Macaulay Culkin) is left behind from his family's Christmas vacation and is forced to man up as he undergoes a world of adventure all on his own, including protecting his home from a pair of burglars!
