Casuarina Square is investing $8.5M in upgrading key areas throughout the Centre over the next six months.
The internal aesthetic upgrades will incorporate common mall areas including major junctions within the mall, a number of entry points, bathroom amenities and a new Customer Service concept.
A highlight of the program is the complete rejuvenation of four key mall junctions at Coles, Donut King, Kmart and The Coffee Club. The new spaces will be treated from floor to ceiling delivering cool and contemporary havens for people to meander and relax. Each precinct will be themed with complimentary landscaping and some will feature natural light and water.
Designed by local architecture firm Hames Sharley, the re-activation and re-imagination of the centre elevates Casuarina Square’s ever evolving retail offer to the next level. The newly activated spaces are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the community and provide more comfort and convenience in a place designed for leisure, work and enjoyment within a uniquely tropical environment.
The upgrades will ensure a shopping experience that is convenient, comfortable and distinctly unique to Darwin.
The works will be completed in stages from February to August 2019 and will take place outside of centre trading hours so it will be business as usual at Casuarina.
